My Story
James Lurkins is a Managing Director at BlueWave Management located in New Smyrna Beach. A native of South Florida, he has been visiting the Volusia County/New Smyrna Beach area since 2001. After serving his country in the U.S. Navy, James decided to make New Smyrna Beach his permanent home.

In 2018, James entered the association management industry and worked for a well-known national company. However, recognizing the need for better practices, he began discussing with Tim Smith about improving the current system.
This led to the establishment of BlueWave Management Group, where James combines cutting-edge technology with a talented team and an unwavering attitude to make BlueWave Management the leading management company in Volusia County and beyond.
